The Sandpiper Art Gallery & Gifts is a beautiful art gallery located in downtown Polson, Montana, near the south end of beautiful Flathead Lake. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up of multiple member artists. Our members are encouraged to be involved in the day-to-day operations & management of the Gallery.

Sandpiper Gallery Art Gallery & Gifts was founded in 1971 by a small group of local artists. Several of their next generation family members remain involved still today.
​
Our founder's Mission Statement was to encourage and promote participation in the arts and to provide educational opportunities through scholarships, workshops, gallery exhibits, festivals, an informational library and other resources. "We believe that the inherent value of the fine arts enhances the quality of life and merits our attention."

The Gallery organizes art exhibits with an emphasis on Western Montana artists. Each year we offer two open, non-juried shows providing opportunities for both novice and experienced artists to show their work in the gallery.
Workshops covering a variety of mediums, taught by local and regional artists, are offered by the gallery throughout the year. See our workshops page, or contact the gallery for details.
The gallery maintains a library with hundreds of books covering a wide range of art-related subjects. The library is open to the public for reading in the gallery. Sandpiper members may check books out to take home for up to one month.

Sandpiper accepts new members at any time. Artists and art lovers are encouraged to browse our Website or contact the gallery for more information and a complete listing of exhibits and workshops.
