MEET DON CARBERRY - Stained Glass

"Just Beautiful Things" Don is originally from Great Falls, Montana. His background includes training in Industrial Arts and an Air Force career as a pilot, followed by careers in real estate and the creative art of stained glass. Don primarily uses the copper foil technique, which allows for much more detail than the lead came method. He is an award winning artisan, with recognition at art festivals in the mid-Atlantic states. His commisoned window panels are focal features in homes on the East coast to the Mid West.

The ornament collection started in an unassuming way, using up scraps of glass. The collection is now in its 28th year, with a new original design created each year with Don’s wife, Carole. He is a member of the Polson Chamber of Commerce. Has artwork in the Sandpiper Art Gallery & Gifts, Polson, and the 4 Ravens Gallery, Missoula.
